RESTORATION COMMUNITY CHURCH is a nondenominational Church of Christ in the tradition of the American Restoration Movement. Our vision is that the people of the Plymouth Bay area have a daily experience in word or deed of the restoration story of Jesus thereby, "making all things new" (Revelation 21:5).
In 2013 Eric Greer, a Christian minister and family therapist, along with the rest of his family made an intentional move to New England to plant a church. Eventually, a partnership grew with the members of the Kingston Baptist Church which had closed its doors in 2014. We began meeting together as a small group to build relationships with one another and cast a new vision for sharing the gospel of Jesus to the Plymouth Bay area. In November 2016 we launched a new church with the assembled group of believers to continue God's work.
Our mission is to build relationships with one another and God and better our community through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We would like to be known for treating one another and our community as Jesus would - with grace and encouragement. We're partnering with other organizations like the Plymouth Marine Corps League and Toys for Tots® and the South Shore Community Action Council. We believe the Bible is God's Word and we seek to make practical application of it in our daily practice.
